There was a time in middle school when I was the new girl. I transferred schools and had very little friends.

One day, a classmate asked me what my name was. I told her Celine Rahman. She replied "Oh my God, like Ramen Noodles?" I responded, "Yes."

From then on I told everyone I knew that my great grandfather was the inventor of Ramen Noodles. It was a little white lie that gave me a wonderful reputation.

No one ever noticed that my last name was spelled Rahman, not Ramen.
